Documenting a 1st birthday with a cake smash photography session is so much fun! These milestone sessions are best scheduled for 10 or 11 months old, and ideally booked 8 weeks in advance of the desired date.

What happens in a cake smash photo session?
All sessions begin with clean portraits of you little one: the perfect opportunity to mark a milestone with a timeless classic image. The cake (made by a local baker and included in the session fee) is introduced and your child can enjoy tasting, touching and making a mess with the cake. Even if your little one isn’t keen on making much mess, I always get some smiles when we finish the trio set of portraits with a time for splashing in the beautiful roll top baby bath.
Parents don’t have to do any clearing up of the mess, get to leave with a clean baby, and maybe some cake if you’re lucky. What’s not to love?!
Viewing your cake smash gallery and receiving the images
Around 2 weeks after your session, you are invited back to my studio in Aylesbury for a presentation viewing. At this appointment you can choose from the print collections and wall art options available. There is something to suit every budget, and a product to compliment every preference: the presentation print box is a popular favourite.
You can view product samples when visiting my Aylesbury studio. I regularly welcome visitors from all over the UK and often have booking from Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Berkshire.
